On July 7, 2016, at 3:42 pm, 12th District Police responded to a radio call for a report of a “person with a gun” and a male shot which brought them to the 20xx block of South Aikens Street. When police arrived at they found the victim, a 51 year-old male, suffering from a gunshot wound to his left leg and was transported to Presbyterian Hospital by medics. The victim informed officers he was on the 20xx block of South Aikens Street when two unknown males pulled a handgun shooting him in his leg attempting to take his money. After dropping the money all three suspects fled the area in an unknown direction. Detectives learned that these suspects were inside an Upper Darby convenience store approximately 12 hours prior to the attack.
Suspect Description:
Suspect #1: Black male, dark complected, 23 years-of-age, 5’7”, thin build, wearing a white muscle shirt, khaki pants.
Suspect #2: Black male, dark complected, 20 years-of-age, 5’7”, thin build, wearing white t-shirt, and blue jeans.
